Ron began his public accounting career with Ennis, Pellum CPAs in 1980. He was admitted as shareholder in 1986. He provides audit, tax and management consulting services to clients in a variety of industries including: construction contractors and home builders, distributors, manufacturers, retailers and non-profit organizations. Over the course of his 29-year career, Ron has developed expertise in construction accounting, auditing, and tax methods, and has taught seminars on these subjects. He has also presented at the FICPA state conference.
Ron has significant experience in assessing and implementing operational and system solutions for both large and small enterprises. His consulting has produced cost effective, efficient solutions for bringing business and accounting processes together. Ron formed the firm's Technology Services Group in 1987, which remains a thriving practice within the firm.
Ron has a long history of service in the Jacksonville community. He serves on the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce Finance Committee and has served as Chair of the Finance Committee's Budget Task Force and Audit Task Force. He is Treasurer of Associated Builders and Contractors and on the Board of Directors of the Northeast Florida Home Builders Association. He has also served on the Executive and Advisory Boards of various non-profit organizations in Jacksonville. Ron currently serves on the Board of Seamark Ranch as Treasurer and sits on the UNF Student Affairs Council.
